• Part 1: PCert - Clinical Trial and Drug Development (4 modules): This Professional Certificate (PCert) course will provide you with basic knowledge of different stages of the drug development process, including how drugs are discovered, tested, and turned into suitable medicine. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the different phases of clinical trials and their significance in drug development. Understand the regulatory requirements and guidelines for conducting clinical trials. Stay informed about the latest advancements, technologies, and trends shaping the future of clinical trials. • Part 2: PCert - Laboratory Skills in Bioscience (4 modules): This Professional Certificate (PCert) course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of key laboratory methods like ELISA, flow cytometry, and fluorescence microscopes. Emphasis on understanding and implementing safety protocols in a bioscience laboratory. Learn the basics of cell culture, including cell line maintenance and aseptic handling. You will participate in research activities (tasks and analysis) and apply your knowledge of pharmacology in research. Develop critical thinking skills to work in an international research environment. You will engage in research skills development tasks to stay current with evolving technologies and applications in the field of Pharmacology. Entry Requirements

 

• This specialization starts with a beginner level and progresses towards the mid and advanced levels. However, prior research experience or knowledge is not required.
• This specialization is designed for all levels of students (Undergraduate students, Master's degree students, or Ph.D.).
• All our online courses are taught in English. Therefore, you must have good English language skills.

Certificate of Completion

 

After completing all the parts of this Specialization, you will be provided with an e-certificate of completion and a virtual internship at Cambridge Centre for Innovation and Development (CamCID).
