This Specialization will equip you with the knowledge of the cellular and molecular basis of cancer, immunology, and cancer therapeutics such as gene editing. To stay competitive in the field of cancer research, universities and organizations need qualified cancer experts with knowledge and understanding of cancer biology and therapeutics who use cutting-edge methods like gene editing. This 16-week Specialization is designed to equip you with the knowledge you need to apply in cancer research. It will train to you perform research in an international research environment.
Through the virtual internship programme, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and skills required to participate in cancer and immunology research. This Specialization aims to provide knowledge of cancer biology and advances in cancer therapeutics.
The online distance-learning delivery of the course will provide opportunities to receive expertise from the Cambridge Centre for Innovation and Development (CamCID) researchers, material from our partners, and guest lectures. This specialization includes two Professional Certificates (PCerts), 4 -week Researchers Training Programme, and a virtual internship.
This 4-week PCert course will provide you the knowledge of the cellular and molecular basis of cancer. It will provide you with the skills to participate in cancer research projects.
Further details are mentioned on PCert - Cancer Biology and Immunology Research page.
This Professional Certificate (PCert) course will provide you with the knowledge of the cellular and molecular basis of cancer therapeutics such as gene editing. You will gain knowledge about the biology behind ZFN, TALENS, and CRISPR.
Further details are mentioned on PCert - Cancer Research and Therapeutics page.
This unique 4-week online training programme is designed to equip you with the knowledge you need to succeed in your career as a researcher in Biomedical Science.
Further details are mentioned on the Researchers Training Programme page.
This 4 weeks virtual internship will provide you a learning opportunity from researchers at CamCID. It will provide you research opportunities and mentorship with weekly research-based tasks and guidance during the tasks. You will participate in research activities (tasks and analysis) remotely and apply your knowledge of cancer and immunology in research.
Further details are mentioned on the Internship in Cancer Immunotherapy Research page.
