It will equip you with the expertise and understanding of databases and publishing requirements. To enhance your biomedical research skills and participate in literature review studies, you need specific research writing and reviewing skills to publish your research in international journals. The aim of this training is to develop these specific skills.
This 8-week professional training aims to provide essential knowledge for publishing your research.
The online distance-learning training will provide opportunities to receive expertise from the Cambridge Centre for Innovation and Development (CamCID) researchers. This programme includes eight weeks of research-based tasks.
In this module, you will learn about literature reviewing and searching articles using research databases. You will also learn to create your own research topic and work on your research report.
You will learn to write the introduction section of your literature review manuscript. You will be provided with guidelines and tips for writing the literature review of your manuscript in this module. You will have an opportunity to improve your academic writing skills and receive valuable feedback from researchers in your field.
You will learn to write the discussion section of your literature review manuscript. You will be provided with guidelines and tips for writing the discussion section of your manuscript in this module. You will have an opportunity to improve your academic writing skills and receive valuable feedback from researchers in your field.
You will learn about scientific journal submission guidelines in your field and their requirements. You will be provided with the task to follow the author's guidelines for journal submission including referencing styles and templates of the manuscript.
We will provide you with all the programme material and eBooks in the training for your learning and the cost of the material is included in the registration fee.

A minimum of 6 months of education in Biomedical Science, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, or other relevant areas is recommended.
The mentioned qualification requirement is for guidance and it is required to successfully complete the training programme. All our online training and courses are taught in English. You must have good English language skills.
This virtual training programme is delivered on our virtual learning platform. The training is self-paced and it can be completed on your own schedule. You will be given tasks to complete within the given deadline of 8 weeks. This programme is designed by the CamCID Research Team in collaboration with academics from multiple high-ranked universities.
After successfully completing all the tasks of 8 weeks, you will be provided with an e-certificate for completing Research Publication Training at Cambridge Centre for Innovation and Development (CamCID).
Your registration will be confirmed after you pay the registration fees. However, we may close the registration early if all the available places are filled. Therefore, early registration is highly recommended.
