Artificial Intelligence in Neuroscience Research

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionising the entire medical field, changing the way the data is used to make decisions, analysing big data, and using algorithms for brain imaging and diagnosis. AI technology integration in neuroscience could increase diagnostic accuracy, time, improve clinical decision-making, and result in improved patient outcomes. AI-guided disease treatment can make a significant contribution to the reduction of health inequalities, especially in low-resource settings. This Specialization will also equip you with the basic knowledge of neuroanatomy, neuroimaging, and neurobiology. This programme will also train you to use this knowledge to participate in neuroscience and neuroimaging research. To stay competitive in the field of AI and neuroscience, universities and organizations need qualified neuroscience experts with knowledge and understanding of neurobiology and AI who use cutting-edge methods like machine learning, deep learning, and/or data analytics in neuroscience research.

This 16-week Specialization is designed to equip you with the knowledge of AI and machine learning you need to apply in neuroscience research. It will train to you perform research in an international research environment. Through the virtual internship programme, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and skills required to participate in AI in medicine research. This Specialization aims to provide knowledge and AI advances in neuroscience.
